Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has been an Cuban and American TV arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. Ana was was raised in Cuba's Havana. Then she moved to Miami along with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. The birthplace of Ana Maria Polo was Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of renowned Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish show to be nominated a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. It was also was ranked in 2015 as the number one Spanish-language program at 4pm across key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. When she graduated the Florida International University's Political science program, she moved to Havana and lived there for twenty years. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Following that, she received her PhD in Law at University of Miami. University of Miami. Polo was first introduced to viewers on television in 2001 on Telemundo's program Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other shows on courts where her expertise in law was utilized. Literature Accolades and Literary Work In the year 1958, she released her book Los Hijos Muertos. It received the Critic's Prize for Literature as well the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to her home in the United States in 1960. Polo regularly speaks, and she helps in raising funds for the campaign. She has been an campaigner for LGBT rights all of her life. She is a Florida Bar-member since 1987, and has graduated in law from University of Miami School of Law.
