In the midst of the corn, potatoes and wheat typically grown on the expansive and vast farmlands of Boise, Idaho, Torrie Wilson is one of wrestling's most athletic athletes, made an appearance. Wilson was a fitness model before she joined the world of sports entertainment during the late 90s. The reason she entered the field came from a WCW backstage tour with her ex-boyfriend. Then, she was a part of Scott Steiner in the ring and continued working for the remainder of the decade. Although she did occasionally compete with WCW, Wilson was also the manager of competitors like David Flair, Billy Kidman and The Filthy Animals, and Shane Douglas. Wilson became a member of WWE when the company purchased WCW in spring 2001. Wilson's athleticism as well as her love of entertainment helped make her an ideal match to WWE at the time of one of the entertainment industries' most significant eras. Wilson was a pivotal figure in the history of WCW when it was swept into WWE, thanks to her partnership with Stacy Keibler (her acquaintance and occasionally rival). Wilson joined in the WWE women's division following the WCW invasion. She was a rival to Keibler Sable Melina. Family members were also at stake when she fought Dawn Marie for their honor.
